Join Me at Harvey's Tales Book Store

Please join me @harveystales in Geneva, Illinois on Saturday, December 17th! Y’all, I LOVE this store!

I’ll read at 11:00 and stay until 1:00 to sign books. If you want to buy your book from them now, just save the receipt and bring it with you that day for signing. If you'd like them to hold a copy for you for that day, just call the store or email them. My other titles will be available, too — but if you want something specific, please call the store and let them know!

Thanks Everett!

Everett owns every one of the “Construction Site” books… but I knew for sure he didn’t have this one yet! 🚜🚧 Thank you, sweet boy, for being a fan (and for sending me some beautiful, awesome artwork and the sweetest note ever)! 🥰

Construction Site: Farming Strong, All Year Long hits shelves on November 15th, in plenty of time for holiday shopping!

AND: Thank you to Everett’s awesome mommy this sweet photo. ❤️❤️❤️

Construction Site Gets a Fright

Check out this INCREDIBLE, SUPER-CREATIVE sensory activity setup from @mommassori123 — with a touch of inspiration from “Construction Site Gets A Fright!”
🚧 Construction Site on Halloween Night

🎃 I love open ended play where Brady can take in the setup I’ve created & go wherever his imagination takes him. Our @magnatiles are one of our favorite open ended toys because they have so many possibilities.

👻 I used some of our favorite small shop open ended resources with our @magnatiles builder set & some dollar tree accessories. Resources used are: @button_and_bug magnetic chalkboard insert & clear acrylic insert, resin pumpkins from @chloe_duffy3 , construction blocks from @applewoodtoys & our Halloween tinkers, forest playscape & resin waterfall from @the.stemsory.experience (MOMMAS15 to save) to recreate one of his favorite Halloween books. It turned into him “saving Halloween” by using the cranes & bricks to create a “ghost trapper.” Then the pumpkins came to life & he had to trap them too!

💠 You can use jillian15 to save on your own @magnatiles & see what your little comes up with!

Thank You Rachel Loves Books!

Thank you so, so much @rachellelovesbooks for this incredibly lovely post!!! ❤️

Is there a book you’ve read to your kids (or your parents read to you) over and over again?⁣

Right now, it’s Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site (or its sequels). Every day. Multiple times a day. And if I dare read my 22 month old anything else, he makes truck noises until I pick up the correct book again.⁣

Which means I was beyond thrilled to receive the newest one, Construction Site: Farming Strong All Year Long by @sherririnker and @agfordart (thank you #gifted @tlcbooktours and @chroniclekidsbooks ).⁣

Just like the previous books, this one has beautiful, colorful pictures and fantastic rhymes to tell the story. And if you’ve read a story out loud ten times in a row, you know how important it is to have one you enjoy reading. Plus, Farming Strong has all the construction vehicles we know and love AND tractors. ⁣

Collect Them All!

Collect all the books in the Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site series, including the upcoming release Construction Site: Farming Strong, All Year Long 🌾

AND: If your pre-order now from your favorite book retailer, you’ll receive a Little Machine Wheel Loader toy from @caterpillarinc. Check out Goodnightconstructionsite.com
