I don’t believe in coincidences. 🙌🏻 A couple of weeks ago, I met this author and heard her 90-second pitch for this book at a conference, and I immediately wanted to read it. 📚 This well-written, sweet middle-grade novel will open your heart, fill you with emotion and change your perceptions — and these characters will hold a special place in your heart. These amazing ladies have started the BROOKLYN BOOK BODEGA, a nonprofit with the mission of giving new and gently-used BOOKS TO KIDS for them TO OWN. ❤️🥰 They have distributed 12,000 books with the help of over 50 volunteers. 📚 Follow them here on Insta at @brooklynbookbodega !
