Each night, supermom @ashlanktaylor says, “Pick two books you want to read before bed...” 📚❤️ How much do I love this?! SOOOO MUCH!!! 😂😁 PS: Ashley has just ordered Mighty, Mighty, Construction Site and Three Cheers for Kid McGear. Hopefully, she and Quinn can mix things up a bit! (Ashley, please let us know! 😊 )

14yo: Where are all the knives?
Me: I need to wash them.
14yo: Why?
Me: Long story.
14yo: (Gives me the one-eyebrow raise.)
Me: I spilled my soup into the drawer.
14yo: That’s not a long story. That’s a short story about you being a dork.
Me: —- . . . 🤷🏻‍♀️ The kid has a point.

Great Books

Sooo... when I’m on the road (and in-and-out of A LOT of bookstores), I will often purchase a book. And, when I’m on the road A LOT, that, apparently, adds up to A LOT of books.
Thankfully, once I read them, I have a very busy Little Free Library that can use them. But, ohmiword, I think I need an intervention. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Now that I’m home, I’m realizing how they’ve multiplied! 😳

For parents of high schoolers (and high schoolers themselves) struggling through AP classes: my first-semester college freshman is technically a junior. Hold strong: it’s worth it! 👊🏻

Sweet but really???

Husband was cleaning the garage, and the dog was busy sniffing in the corner. Husband saw a chipmunk run out of the garage and turned to find the dog like this. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We love her, but she might not be the sharpest knife in the block. 🤷🏻‍♀️
